Throughout the semester, I have learned so much. I have met so many great people and decided on a career choice. In the beginning of the semester, I walked in not knowing what I wanted to major in. When are are younger we get asked the question "what do you want to be when you grow up?" We say things like singer, doctor or athlete. Well, I'm older now and there are so many career's out in the world that I never even knew existed. I have always had a creative touch on things I do. My original "college career plan" was to go to school to become an interior designer. The more and more I think about college and career paths, I often try to think what is best for me. I have finally decided I'm going to major in Early Childhood Education." I love working with kids and I think this will be a job I will enjoy going to everyday! In my psychology class, we were given a project called "The Career Paper." We had to pick a possible career choice and interview someone in that field. During the interview, I became inspired. I gained a new perspective on how a teacher impacts the lives of those willing to learn.
